The band was brought together by Opetaia Foa’i, songwriter and lead vocalist of the group. Described as one of New Zealand’s finest songwriters, his musical background spans both the traditional and the diverse influences of contemporary metropolitan culture.
This trip is the group’s fourth visit to the Islands, having previously performed at Kapono’s, World Cafe, Waikiki Shell and Leeward Community College.
