Eleven Windward intermediate school students read their winning environmental pieces last month during a gathering of the Hawaii Conservation Alliance and the Pacific Writers Connection, sponsors of the annual My Hawaii Story project. Out of 380 entries, 25 poems and stories were selected for publication.
