As a major supporter of Hawaiian Humane Society, Mike McKenna and his Kailua car dealership have hosted several pet adoption days this year, finding homes for 90 dogs and cats. He also sponsors the HHS Pet Walk (see photo on page 9) and has raised $31,000 for the nonprofit. Why? It needs help, that’s why. And besides, Mike says, “The bottom line is I’m a dog lover and so are all of us at Windward Ford.” On any given day, you might see as many as 10 dogs roaming around the building, including Hana Boy, of course ...
