Former state Rep. Brian Schatz of Kailua has received the Legislator of the Year award from the Hawaii Psychological Association for his “outstanding support for mental health in the state and contributions to psychology” ... Eugene Graham (Kalaheo ‘06) has completed Army basic training at Fort Benning, Ga.; and Aimee Ferreira of Kailua and Malia Siangco (Castle ‘06) have done the same with the Army National Guard at Fort Jackson, S.C. ... Kailua siblings Christina and Scott Pirscher have been named Collegiate All-American Scholars by the United States Achievement Academy for their 3.3 or higher gpa.
