Dan (not from Forrest Gump), gets sent to Afghanistan. That’s coming up very soon. Maryn, meanwhile, landed the key role of Nellie Forbush, a spunky nurse deployed to the Pacific while her fiance waits her return in Arkansas ... Cheer on the Castle Knights at 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at Hawaiian Brian’s in Honolulu. It’s an eight-ball cheerleading tournament vs. Kapolei with prize money going to the winning squad (941-1343)

Not exactly at an escargot’s pace
