Locally trained dancer choreographers Mark Kanemura, Ry’n Sabado and Preston Meneses will miss 24-VII Danceforce‘s Red concert opening June 29 (see calendar), but they’ve come up with some very good excuses. Mark and Preston are joining Janet Jackson‘s upcoming world tour - Mark as chore-ographer/dancer and Preston as Janet’s personal makeup artist. Ry’n will teach dance classes in Japan ... With their three other youngish mates, the Doyles claim a new record for youngest crew (19.8 years), breaking the 1969 record of 22.57 years. (Add it all up and you’re getting close to my age.)
