Teenage Mutant Ninja Twins

I believe that I’ve mentioned before the 5-year-old twin boys of my brother-in-law and his wife. We love them to death, but they can bring nearly any adult to their knees. That’s because on a good day they make Dennis the Menace look like an altar boy for the pope.
Since we get together with my wife’s family nearly every Sunday for dinner, we get a weekly dose of their antics. They have enough energy to power the mayor’s proposed mass transit system. In fact, you could probably have the system also hit all the Neighbor Islands.
In a way, it’s like the grandkids factor - you can spoil them and get them worked up, but at the end of the day they go home with their parents. The other Saturday I got press passes to attend the premiere of the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I thought it would be perfect for the boys - not with me taking them, mind you, so I set up them and their parents to see the movie. I was kind of chuckling to myself as I was envisioning the two boys after seeing that movie. They will probably be bouncing off the walls and wreaking total havoc for the rest of the day.
I figured no skin off my nose, until later that day my wife informed me that we were going to baby-sit the boys that evening. It was their parents’ 11th wedding anniversary and, unbeknownst to me, my wife volunteered us to watch them.
I frantically tried to reach my brother-in-law to somehow cancel the movie experience. I was too late and had basically committed baby-sitting suicide. Deciding to fight fire with fire, I headed out the door. My wife asked where I was going. “I’m going to the movies,” I replied. “I need to see 300.”
