The Military Star News will discontinue publication May 26 as a result of the merging of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and Honolulu Advertiser. The new Honolulu Star-Advertiser will maintain its relationships with the Hawaii Navy News, Hickam Kukini, Hawaii Marine Newspaper and Hawaii Army Weekly.

We would like to thank the civilians and uniformed public affairs officials for their assistance in helping the Military Star News share your stories. Most important, the staff at the Military Star News would like to thank you, the reader, for your support and tireless service to the community and country.
