Below are some highlights of what’s happening in the Central Oahu community for the next few weeks.

* PSYCHIC FAIRS Intuitive Entertainment conducts psychic fairs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 11 and 12 at the Mililani Town Center (by Loco Moco). Call 239-2574.

* BLOOD DRIVES The Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 18 and Sept. 1 at Mililani Town Center; from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 30 at Mililani Tech Park; and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Wahiawa General Hospital. Call 845-9966.

* BOOK SALE The Friends of Mililani Library plan a book sale for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 18 at Mililani Town Center. To volunteer, call 627-7470.

* NEIGHBORS The Mililani Mauka-Launani Valley Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. Aug. 21 at Mililani Mauka Elementary School cafeteria; the Mililani-Waipio-Melemanu board meets at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 22 at Mililani Rec Center III; the North Shore board meets at 7 p.m. Aug. 28 at Alii Beach Park Call 527-5749.

* BOATING SAFETY The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary conducts a Boating Skills and Seamanship Course Aug. 21-Oct. 16, meeting at 6:30 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday at Mililani High School. Call 622-1634.


* BON DANCE Mililani Hongwanji conducts its annual bon dances at 7:30 p.m. (with taiko at 7) Aug. 17 and 18 at 95-257 Kaloapau St. Call 625-0925.

* MENEHUNE MARCH The Menehune Marchers plan a 10K walk through Waimea Valley Audubon Center, meeting at 9:15 a.m. Aug. 26 at the park gift shop. Fees apply. Call 626-3575.

* HIKE The Hawaiian Trail & Mountain Club leads a 2-mile intermediate hike/wade in Kaukonahua stream at 8 a.m. Sept. 8. Go to www.htmclub.org

* SELF-PUBLISHING Author Rich Budnick leads a free workshop at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at Mililani Library on how to pub-lish your own book. Call 395-1161.

* ART TOUR North Shore Artists Studio Tour - a team of six artists from Turtle Bay to Kaena Point - open their studios to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Tuesday. Call 637-8934.

* POLO The Hawaii Polo Club hosts competitive matches at 2 p.m. each Sunday through the end of September at Mokuleia Polo Field. Gates open at 11 a.m. Admission is $8. Call 637-8401.

* MOMS The Central Oahu Moms Club invites stay-at-home mothers and their children to join its activities. Call 218-8524.

* YOGA Jasmiine Yoga offers daily yoga classes for all ages at the Weinberg Community Center in Waialua. Call 561-9639.


* TOASTMASTERS The Pineapple Toastmasters Club meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursday at Sgt. Yano Library on Schofield Barracks.
