* WASTEWATER The North Shore Regional Wastewater Alternative committee meets at 8 a.m. Nov. 27 at Haleiwa Joe’s in Haleiwa. Call 421-1742.
* NEIGHBORS The North Shore Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. Nov. 27 at Alii Beach Park; the Mililani-Waipio-Melemanu board meets at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at Mililani Rec Center III. Call 527-5749.
* WAIMEA PARK Bill Garnett discusses “Living on the Edge: Restoring Coastal Plants and Habitats on Molokai’s North Shore” in a free lecture at 6 p.m Nov. 29 at Waimea Valley Audubon Center. The center also presents “Scoping Out the Stars"at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7, featuring a look at the night sky through telescopes provided by Stargazers of Hawaii. Fee is $8 and $6. * PARADES The Wahiawa Christmas Parade starts at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at Kaala Elementary School and ends at Center Street (621-7097); the Mililani Christmas Parade starts at 9 a.m. Dec. 1 at Mililani Town Center and ends at Mililani Shopping Center (722-4247).
* SINGALONG Wayne Watkins presents “Sing Along with Uncle Wayne"at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 1 in the Children’s Room at Mililani Library. The award-winning educator has a Maui TV show and directs the University of Hawaii Children’s Center. Call 627-7470.
* CRAFT FAIR The 19th annual Wahiawa Ryusenji Soto Mission Fujinkai Craft Fair runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 1 at 164 California Ave., with crafts, sushi, pickled vegetables, baked good and more. Call 622-1429.
* BLOOD DRIVES The Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 1 and 15 at Mililani Town Center; and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 7 in the Waialua High School gym. Call 845-9966.
* LAIE CONCERTS Polynesian Cultural Center kicks off its “Christmas in Polynesia” theme with a free concert by Raiatea Helm from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3. Ten Feet will play Dec. 7, Koa’uka Dec. 14, Opihi Pickers Dec. 21, and Justin Young Dec. 28. Call 293-3333.
