Below are some highlights of what’s happening in the Central Oahu community over the next few weeks.

* MARCHERS The Menehune Marchers sponsor a 10K volks-march at 9:15 a.m. Jan. 12 at Waimea Valley Audubon Center. Sign up in advance; small fee required. Call 626-3575.

* NEIGHBORS The Mililani Mauka-Launani Valley Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. Jan. 15 at Mililani Mauka Elementary School; Wahiawa board meets at 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at Wahiawa District Park; North Shore board meets at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 at Alii Beach Park; and MililaniWaipio-Melemanu board meets at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 23 at Mililani Rec Center 3. * PRESCHOOL Kamehameha Schools presents an information session at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 17 at Haleiwa Jodo Mission (66-279 Haleiwa Road #A) on the admissions process for its preschools. (Another session is at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at Queen Liliuokalani Children’s Center in Punaluu.) Call 842-8800.

* NALUAI TRIBUTE Polynesian Cultural Center presents its Moanikeala Hula Dance Festival Jan. 19 in honor of Aunty Sally Wood Naluai. Call 293-3333.

* WAIALUA PERMIT The city Department of Planning and Permitting holds a hearing at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 22 at Waialua District Park on an SMA permit to add two houses, a wastewater plant and soil absorption system at 68-085 Au St. Call 768-8031.

* COLLEGE AID First Hawaiian Bank and the Hawaii Association of College Admission Counseling present a College Planning Workshop at 7 p.m. Jan. 28 at Mililani High School for parents and students. Call 842-8900.

* BLOOD DRIVES The Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 18 at Mililani Tech Park; 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 18 in the Leilehua High School library; 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 19 and Feb. 2 at Mililani Town Center; and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at Wahiawa General Hospital. * WAIPIO MARKET Kaiser Waipio Clinic has a “fresh day” market of healthy food and produce from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays at 94-1480 Moaniani St. Call 432-2270.

* MILILANI MARKET Mililani High School hosts a Farmers Market from 8 to 11 a.m. Sundays in the gym parking lot. Call 848-2074.
