* ELDER TRANSIT The city Human Services Department holds a town hall meeting from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 24 at Wahiawa District Park to identify transportation needs for older adults, people with disabilities and low-income residents. Call 768-8380.

* CHOIR CONCERT The Moo-Gung-Hwa 18-voice women’s choir has a public concert at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 24 at Olive United Methodist Church, 108 California Ave. with Hawaiian and Korean folk songs, plus Grieg, Malotte, Handel and more. Call 622-1717.

* GREEN HOUR Wahiawa Botanical Garden offers a “green hour” activity for families at 2:30 p.m. each Wednesday, Nov. 26 through Dec. 10, giving folks an outdoor break from TV, computers and video games.Call 621-5463.


* NEIGHBORS Mililani-Waipio-Melemanu Neighborhood Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at Mililani Rec Center III; North Shore board meets at 7 p.m. Nov. 26 at John Kalili Surf Center. For updates, call 768-3710.

* WAHIAWA MUSIC Higher Ground Cafe offers entertainment from 7 p.m. on various nights at 70 Kukui St. Current gigs include Oahu Songwriters Group Nov. 25; Open Mic Nov. 26; Jazz with Steve Lucas, Nando Suan and the boys Nov. 27; Led Ka’apana Nov. 28; Mike Corroda Nov. 29. Call 622-0000.

* BOTANY ART Wahiawa Botanical Garden has a self-directed botanical drawing and painting class at 12:30 p.m. each Wednesday, Nov. 26 through Dec. 10 in the garden. Call 621-5463.

* BLOOD DRIVE Hawaii Blood Bank has a donor drive from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at Wahiawa hospital. Call 845-9966.

* RABBIT SHOW Hawaii All-Breed Rabbit Club and American Rabbit Breeders host an unofficial rabbit show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 28 at Wahiawa Library with tips and books on pet care. Call 622-6345.

* NORTH SHORE PARADE

The Koolauloa Lions Club’s North Shore Christmas Parade is at 10 a.m. Nov. 29 at Pupukea Road, moving south to Swanzy Beach Park. Call 341-5294.

* ART WALK The North Shore Chamber of Commerce has its Haleiwa Art Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 29 with live entertainment, featured artists, pupus and sidewalk sales. Call 637-4558.

* MUSIC FEST The Koolauloa Keiki Choir, BYUH Music Club and more present a Holiday Music Festival at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Kahuku Library. Call 293-8935.

* CONCERT Na Kamali’i O ‘Iliahi Elementary School Choir performs at 7 p.m. Dec. 4 at Pearlridge Center on the Uptown stage. Call 488-0981.

* PARADES The WCBA has its annual Santa Claus Parade at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5 starting at Kaala Elementary School, going up California Avenue (with elves passing out candy) to Wahiawa Town Center (621-7097); Mililani Shopping Center and Town Center stage the Mililani Christmas Parade at 9 a.m. Dec. 6, traveling from the Town Center to MSC. * HI-5 DRIVE Leilehua High School’s 2009 Project Grad committee collects HI-5 containers from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 6 in the school parking lot. Call 542-1793.

* BLOOD DRIVE Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at Mililani Town Center near Tesoro. Call 845-9966.

* CRAFT FAIR Wahiawa Ryusenji Soto Mission has its 20th annual Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at 164 California Ave., offering sushi, pickled vegetables, baked goods, Hawaii Matsuri Taiko, Na Papa Hulu O Noelani and the Kaala Japanese Language School. Call 522-1429.
