* NEIGHBORS The Wahiawa Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. March 16 at Wahiawa District Park; Mililani Mauka meets at 7 p.m. March 17 in Mililani Mauka Elementary School; North Shore meets at 7 p.m. March 24 at Alii Beach Park; and Mililani-Waipio-Melemanu meets at 7:30 p.m. March 25 at Mililani Rec Center III. * INSPIRATION Australian Nick Vujicic, born without arms and legs, gives a motivational talk at 6:30 p.m. March 18 at Cornerstone Fellowship, 95-1080 Ukuwai St. in Mililani Mauka. The talk is sponsored by Waterhouse Lecture Series. Call 626-7719.

* WAHIAWA MUSIC Higher Ground Cafe has live entertainment various nights at 70 Kukui St. with jazz, open mic and more. Also booked: Steve Lucas, Nando Suan and the boys at 7:30 p.m. March 19 and King Karate at 7:30 p.m. March 20. Call 622-0000.

* AUGIE T Comedian Augie T does a family show with Jose Dynamite and Timmy Mattos at 8 p.m. March 20 at Waialua Community Association. Tickets cost $10 in advance (at Breakers or Cholo’s in Haleiwa), and $15 at the door. The comedian also performs April 3 at the Crouching Lion in Kaaawa. Call 479-0576.

* RECYCLING Leilehua High Project Grad collects HI-5 containers from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 21 in the school parking lot. Call 542-1793.

* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank has a donor drives from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 21 and April 4 at Mililani Town Center, and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 23 at Wahiawa General Hospital. Call 845-9966.


* CAR WASH St. Michael’s School has a car wash from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 21 in the Waialua Community Association parking lot. Call 637-7772.

* SPRING BREAK Public school spring break starts March 23, and students return April 6.

* PUPUKEA HIKE The Hawaiian Trail & Mountain Club leads a 9-mile hike to the Pupukea summit at 8:30 a.m. March 23. Go to http://www.htmclub.org.

* SWAP MEET, CHICKENLeilehua Project Grad has a chicken sale and swap meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 28 in the parking lot. Vendors pay $35 for two stalls. Call Kay at 554-7179.

* ART WALK The Haleiwa Art Walk is from 6 to 9 p.m. March 28 in Haleiwa town. Call 637-4558.

* MILILANI RECYCLING Mililani High School’s Project Grad collects HI-5 recyclables from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 4 and on the first Saturday of each month in the school parking lot. Call 623-3817.

* BANDSTAND The U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific plays a free concert at 4 p.m. April 5 at the Waialua Bandstand. Call 637-4520.
