* OSHIRO WRAP-UP State Rep. Marcus Oshiro hosts a post-session forum from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 9 at Wahiawa District Park’s Hale Koa room to report on the 2009 legislative session. Refreshments are provided. Call 586-6200.
* KEIKI HEALTH Leading Edge Network and Koolauloa Community Health and Wellness Center begin a free health and wellness program for age 12 to 17 at 2:30 p.m. June 10 at Kahuku Community Center. Programs run from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays offering lessons in nutrition, fitness, substance abuse and more. Call Stephanie at 623-3402.
* LIBRARY CLOSURES All public libraries are closed June 11 in observance of King Kamehameha Day.
* PROPAGATIONWahiawa Botanical Garden conducts a free class on “The Secrets of Plant Propagation” at 9 a.m. June 12. Call 621-5463.
* INLINE HOCKEYMililani Inline Hockey Association hosts the USA regional championships June 12-14 at Kaoma’aiku Neighborhood Park with about 200 children expected to compete. Opening ceremonies begin at 2 p.m. June 13. Call 375-9808.
* BOOK SIGNING Author Chris McKinney signs copies of his new novel, Mililani Mauka, at noon June 13 at Mililani Borders Express. Call 623-2138.
* DOG ADOPTIONS Hawaii Dog Foundation stages a “meet and greet” from noon to 2 p.m. June 13 and 27 at Mililani Mauka Dog Park to let potential adoptive families get acquainted with their homeless dogs. Call 782-8387.
* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 14 at Mililani Town Center, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 15 at Mililani Tech Park, 100 Kahelu Ave., and 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 20 at Mililani Town Center. Call 845-9966.
* NEIGHBORS Wahiawa Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. June 15 at Wahiawa District Park; Mililani Mauka meets at 7 p.m. June 16 at Mililani Mauka Elementary School; North Shore meets at 7 p.m. June 23 at Haleiwa Alii Beach Park; and Mililani-Waipio-Melemanu meets at 7:30 p.m. June 24 at Mililani Rec Center III. * BAKE SALE The Friends of Waialua Library conduct their annual bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 20 during the monthly book sale, featuring breads, muffins, cookies, bars and cakes, homemade chutney, jams, pickled onions and more, plus Starbucks coffee and a dining area for customers. * DAD’S DAY Mililani Town Center hosts a “Celebrate Dad” program from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 20 with games, prizes and gifts for fathers. Call 625-5233.
* WISDOM Mililani Hongwanji hosts a potluck brunch and lecture by University of Oregon professor Mark Unno from 8:30 a.m. to noon June 20 at 95-257 Kaloapau St. Topic is “Like Water, Like Sun: Buddhist Wisdom for Difficult Times.” Call 625-0925.

* OHA WORKSHOP The Office of Hawaiian Affairs leads a mandatory workshop at 1 p.m. June 22 at the old Waialua Courthouse for those interested in applying for Community-based Economic Development grants. Call 594-1990.
