* NEIGHBORS The North Shore Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. Nov. 24 at Haleiwa Alii Beach Park, and Mililani-Waipio-Melemanu meets at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25 at Mililani Rec Center III. Call 768-3710.
* BLOOD DRIVE Hawaii Blood Bank conducts a donor drive from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at Wahiawa General Hospital. Call 845-9966.
* ART WALK The monthly Haleiwa Art Walk runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 28 in Haleiwa town, featuring sales, activities and events hosted by dozens of merchants. Call 637-2284.
* OKINAWA FAIR Hawaii Okinawa Center hosts its annual HUOA Winter Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m Nov. 28 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 29 at 94-587 Ukee St., featuring more than 150 vendors and original handcrafted products. Donors of $5 may start shopping at 8:30 a.m. each day, and those who bring a canned food item for Hawaii Foodbank get a coupon for one free andagi. Call 676-5400.
* WARRIOR BUS The UH Football Express shuttles fans between Mililani and Aloha Stadium Nov. 28 for the Navy game and Dec. 5 for Wisconsin. For fees and details, call Roberts Hawaii at 954-8625.
* HALEIWA MARKET Haleiwa Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 29 on a Holiday Fair theme with keiki activities, Santa, Rex & Surf Dog, face painting, seed planting and plenty of food and produce. Located at old Kamehameha Highway and the Bypass Road near Haleiwa Beach Park, the event offers more than 40 vendors with locally grown or made products each Sunday. Call 388-9696.
* BRIDGE HEARING The city Department of Planning and Permitting holds a hearing on the SMA permit needed to replace Kawela Stream Bridge at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 30 at Sunset Beach Recreation Center, 59-540 Kamehameha Hwy. Call 768-8025.

* OSHIRO FORUM State Rep. Marcus Oshiro leads a pre-session forum from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 1 in the Hale Koa room at Wahiawa District Park. Following refreshments and socializing at 6, the meeting starts at 6:30 with discussion of area and statewide issues, such as furloughs, general assistance cuts, drug abuse, the homeless population, Wahiawa General Hospital and more. * KUNIA COLLECTION Kunia Shopping Center merchants collect canned goods for Hawaii Foodbank from Dec.1 to 18 at 94-673 Kupuohi St.
* SOTO MISSION FAIR Wahiawa Ryusenji Soto Mission has its 21st annual craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 5 at 164 California Ave., next to Kaala Elementary School, featuring sushi, Spam musubi, pickled vegetables, baked goods, taiko drumming, singing and dancing. * MTA FAIR Mililani Town Association hosts its annual Christmas Craft & Gift Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 5 at Mililani Rec Center 5, 95-1101 Ainamakua Drive. The public is invited. Call 623-7300.
* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank has donor drives from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at Mililani Town Center and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 8 in Waialua High School gym. Call 845-9966.
* DOG ADOPTIONS Hawaii Dog Foundation hosts “meet and greet” sessions from noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 5 and 19 at Mililani Mauka Dog Park so prospective adoptive families can get acquainted with the foundation’s homeless dogs. Call 782-8387.
* WAIMEA FAIR Waimea Valley conducts a Holiday Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Pikake Pavilion with more than 40 vendors. There is an admission fee to the park. Call 638-7766.
* WAIALUA MUSIC The U.S. Navy Dixieland Band performs at 4 p.m. Dec. 6 at Waialua Bandstand, sponsored by Waialua Sugar Mill’s North Shore Soap Factory. Call 637-9721.

* HULA Kumu hula Ali’i Manu conducts non-competitive hula classes (auana, kahiko and the aloha spirit) for the public at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Mililani Uka Elementary School. Men and women ages 15 and up are welcome. Call 478-2400.
* WAIMEA HIKES Waimea Valley offers a variety of hikes to visitors every Saturday and Sunday, plus themed walks, crafts, music, games or storytelling every weekday, Let’s Speak Hawaiian on Mondays and Fridays, and much more. For fees and details, call 638-7766.
* STORIES Wahiawa Library has a free preschool storytime at 10:30 a.m. each Wednesday for ages 3-5. Call 622-6345.
* WAHIAWA MUSIC Higher Ground Cafe has live entertainment from 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday at 70 Kukui St. Call 622-8000.
* MEDITATION “Mindfulness Meditation” is conducted from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on each second Friday of each month at Mililani Hongwanji, 95-257 Kaloapau St. The program is a guided, silent and walking meditation based on the Thich Nhat Hanh tradition. Call 625-1022.
* ART IN THE PARK Interested artists meet at 9 a.m. Wednesdays for self-directed drawing and painting at Wahiawa Botanical Garden. Call 621-5463.
* SURF CULTURE North Shore Surf and Cultural Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day but Tuesday in North Shore Marketplace with displays of vintage boards, posters and much more. Donation is requested. Call 637-8888.
* ESCRIMA Patrick Delos Santos leads Kali Escrima classes in self-defense (Filipino stick fighting) at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 9:30 a.m. Saturdays at Mililani Waena Elementary School. Fee is $50 per month. Call 398-0119.
* LA LECHE La Leche League of Central Oahu meets at 10 a.m. on the third Tuesday in Sgt. Yano Library at Schofield Barracks. All breast-feeding and expectant mothers are welcome. Call 888-2321.
