* TRAFFIC TALK Mililani Mauka-Launani Valley Neighborhood Board has a public forum on traffic woes, particularly the southbound H-2 morning rush, at 6:30 p.m. May 5 in Mililani Mauka Elementary cafeteria. Transportation officials will hear comments and propose solutions. Call 226-7430.

* HEALTH TALKS ORI Anuenue Hale’s Elder Care series has free talks and exercise classes from 1 to 3 p.m. in May. Topics include Carpal Tunnel Syndrome May 6, Sprains and Strains May 13, Deep Vein Thrombosis May 20 and Stress Fractures May 27. * HOSPICE CAMP Deadline is May 7 to sign up for Hospice Hawaii’s Family Bereavement Camp June 25-27 in Punaluu.Families who’ve lost a loved one are welcome. Fee is $50 (924-9255}.

* MOTHERS’ GIFTS Mililani Town Center marks Mothers Day from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 8 with prizes and gift-making for keiki. Call 625-5233.

* ORCHID SHOW Mililani Orchid Club’s Mother’s Day display and sale is 8 a.m.-2 p.m. May 8 at Mililani Mauka Elementary. Call 623-1114.

* BLOOD DRIVES Blood drives are set for 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 10 at Oceanic Cable and 6:30 a.m.to 2:30 p.m.May 15 at Mililani Town Center. Call 845-9966.

* OSHIRO FORUM State Rep. Marcus Oshiro hosts a post-session forum from 6 to 8:30 p.m. May 11 at Wahiawa District Park’s Hale Koa Room with details on the session as well as refreshments.Everyone is welcome. Call 586-6200.


* FIREKNIFE CHAMPS Polynesian Cultural Center hosts the World Fireknife Championships May 12-15,as well as the Samoan Cultural High School Arts Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 15. Call 293-3333.
