* GREEN HOUR Wahiawa Botanical Garden offers a Green Hour for families at 2 p.m. June 16 and each Wednesday through July 14. Take a break from electronic amusements to enjoy the outdoors. Call 621-5463.
* BUG BASICS The plant doctor is on duty from 9 to 10 a.m. June 18 at Wahiawa Botanical Garden to share “bug basics"and other tips for your ailing plants. Bring a sample of the sick ones. Call 621-5463.
* DAD’S DAY Mililani Town Center marks Father’s Day early with games, crafts and prizes from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 19. Call 625-5233.
* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank has donor drives from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 19 and July 3 at Mililani Town Center. Call 845-9966.
* WAIMEA MUSIC Waimea Valley presents its Kanikapila with the Abrigo Ohana from 1 to 4 p.m. June 20 with free admission. Call 638-5855.
* FINANCIAL ABUSE Kaiser Permanente’s free Senior Summit lecture June 23 is on “Recognizing and Preventing Financial Abuse of the Elderly,” at 10 a.m. at its Waipio Clinic, 94-1480 Moaniani St. The public is welcome. Call 432-2235.
