BOE Meets At Mililani ‘Ike

The state Board of Education will meet with area residents from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Mililani ‘Ike Elementary School cafeteria.

The community meeting is a forum designed for people residing between Mililani-Waipio and Sunset Beach-North Shore. Using a town hall format with no fixed agenda, the evening will focus on school and library issues, and the panel will share reports from the state Department of Education on student achievement, safety in schools and education goals for the future.
