Celebrate ‘50s Style In Wahiawa

Fluff up all poodle skirts and dust off those blue suede shoes for a Fabulous Fifties Party Nov. 10 in Wahiawa.

From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday in Hale Hookipa at Wahiawa District Park, residents are invited to come dressed in 1950s garb to enjoy refreshments and a dance routine from the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association’s Mililani group.

Through sponsorship with Wahiawa United Methodist Church, all funds raised will go toward helping local missions, including the church’s Healthy Living Kupuna Program. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the church or at the door that evening. Parking is available on Kilani Avenue.
