Residents and former students of Central Oahu schools continue to join the military service and achieve success in training and combat duties. Below is a partial listing of recent news about local servicemembers.
DEPLOYMENTS West Point graduate and Army 1st. Lt. Earl Tsuneyoshi of Mililani has returned to the U.S. after being deployed to Iraq as a platoon leader. He is normally with the 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team in Baumholder, Germany.
BASIC TRAINING Derek Dumlao (Leilehua ‘04) has graduated from Air Force Reserve basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas ... Patrick Vera (Mililani ‘06) has graduated from Air Force Basic training, also at Lackland ... Tyler Marzan of Wahiawa has graduated from Army Reserve basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. ...
