Like everyone else,Leilehua High’s band is playing more music with less money. But wait! The LHS Band Boosters will have a Holiday Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the cafeteria.

The sale will have a variety of specialty gifts, crafts, food, drinks, a bake sale, open market, door prizes and Huli-Huli chicken.

“We need to pay for football game expenses, equipment and transportation,” said Merle Misajon, craft fair coordinator for the band, which has about 160 students. “It really gets expensive.”

Under the director of Alan Kinoshita, the school has a marching band and symphonic band, which will perform its fall pops concert at 7 p.m. Sept. 27 in the school gym for the public.

For more information, call 627-5057, or come on down and buy a few early Christmas presents to help keep the music playing.
