Experts To Share Tips On Identity Theft, Burglaries

Malama O Wahiawa, a nonprofit associated with Wahiawa Community and Business Association, is holding a community meeting on neighborhood security Oct. 30 at the Hale Koa Building at Wahiawa District Park. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.

Current security issues, including being victimized by con artists, identity theft and home burglaries, will be addressed. Theresa Kong Kee, from the state Business Registration Division, will make a presentation titled, “How to Spot a Con Artist.“Also speaking will be Honolulu Police Department District Commander Major Bart Huber. Members of the HPD Community Policing Team will present information on steps you can take to avoid identity theft.
