Family Fun, Discounts At Dole Plantation Day

Del.icio.usDole Plantation will have a Family Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 26, offering food, fun, games, arts, crafts, prizes and entertainment for Central Oahu families.
The annual event also includes buy-one, get-one-free tickets to the World’s Largest Maze and Plantation Garden tour and reduced admission on the Pineapple Express train tour.
Na Kupuna O Wahiawa, Wahiawa Hula Studio II and Te Lumanaki will dance, while Helemano Elementary School Ukulele Club and the Hawaiian trio Kamele will sing. Pineapple Pete will make a special appearance.
Area schools and organizations will man the food booths, which have favorites from Ted’s Bakery as well as KC Waffle Dogs. A chocolate fountain and pineapple-dipping station highlight the menu, along with a Country Store bake sale.
