Del.icio.usWaimea Valley will host a family day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 26, featuring walking tours, lei making classes, hula lessons, Hawaiian games, crafts, music and story telling. Residents can get reacquainted with the 45-foot waterfall, the restored heiau from 1470, and many of its botanical wonders. Kamaaina admission is $6. The 1,800-acre park is located at 59-864 Kamehameha Highway. For more information, call 638-7766.
