Wahiawa Botanical Garden is not its usual peaceful retreat this month, as the Green Lady has returned to lurk among visitors Oct. 14-31.
The garden will be an “enchanted, spooktacular forest walk” with specters in the trees, a haunted cemetery, ghouls around a cauldron and the mysterious and legendary Green Lady. Park hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The garden also plans a pre-school storytime at 9:30 a.m. today (Oct. 13) and Nov. 24 and Dec. 29, featuring nature crafts, stories and “visiting a tree.” Reservations are required by calling 621-5463.
