A private school in Wahiawa is offering a Furlough Friday program - and extended care - for public school students beginning on Nov. 20.

Ho’ala School will provide a service-oriented agenda of “field trips, reflection and fun"from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on each Furlough Friday at a different location with different task each day for children in grades K-8.

Fee is $35 per day plus an initial cost of $9 for a Ho’ala School T-shirt. Fees cover field trip expenses, but participants should bring their own snack, lunch and drinks. The extended care goes until 5:30 p.m. for an additional fee of $10.

Ho’ala is located at 1067A California Ave. For more information, call Darlene Dela Cruz at 621-1898 or go to http://www.hoala.org.
