Kahuku Library is the place to celebrate award-winning local voices as well as tales of the Marshall Islands this month.

* The library hosts its fifth annual Holiday Music Festival at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 1) featuring the acclaimed Kahuku High School show choir, Vocal Motion, directed by Elizabeth Kammerer, and the BYU-Hawaii String Quartet, conducted by Daniel Bradshaw. Bradshaw also will lead the audience in a medley of Christmas songs, followed by Don Ramos and Amy Swiderski leading the crowd in the finale, The Twelve Days of Christmas Hawaiian Style.

* Storyteller Dan Kelin brings Marshall Island Tales to the library at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8, mixing stories, songs and dance to enhance the experience. Kelin is Director of Education for Honolulu Theatre for Youth.
