Sunset Beach Church Hosts Caregiver Talks

The Caregiver Foundation is now holding classes on how to care, cope with and treat elderly members of your family from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Nov. 12), Nov. 19 and Nov. 26 at the Sunset Beach Christian Church.

Subjects covered in the free, 90-minute sessions include preventing elderly abuse, family caregiving, legal matters, financing long-term care and making the nursing home choice.

Gary A. Powell leads the sessions, which began last week, and more sessions like these will be offered throughout the island during the coming year.

The church is located at 59-274 Kamehameha Hwy.
