Tasty Fro-Yo Comes To Mililani

Del.icio.usMililani Town Center has a brand-new treat: Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt has brought its colorful décor and ambiance, along with cool desserts,to the neighborhood.
The do-it-yourself fro-yo shop offers up a rotating selection of flavors and an array of toppings. There’s everything from fresh, locally grown fruits to classic rainbow sprinkles and hot fudge.
Yogurt flavors include island banana,chai tea,pumpkin, Heath bar, pomegranate tart, root beer float and vanilla latte. Menchie’s also stocks no-sugar-added, low-carb and dairy-free selections.
The concept is “mix, weigh, pay.” Mix up as many flavors and toppings as you like, then pay by weight, not by topping.
Menchie’s Mililani is next door to Price Busters and is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information, call 623-7799.
It’s the third Menchie’s franchise to open its doors on Oahu, with other locations at Ward Warehouse and in Kapolei. Owners and friends Erica Miyabara and Kelly Hiraki grew their business here after sampling the delights of the self-serve frozen yogurt shops in California.
