Mahalo nui loa for supporting our Miracle Week at Wahiawa Christian Church, First Christian in Honolulu and Church of Christ Uniting in Kailua. To see the story about our extreme makeovers on the front page of the Aug. 18 Central Oahu Islander was one of the best highlights of the event.
We had over 80 West Coast visitors who helped us repair and beautify our churches. Most of them wanted and received a copy of the story, and we made sure our regional pastors received one.
At Wahiawa Christian we had a wonderful “Hawaiian” dinner to celebrate the completion of the sanctuary painting, refinishing of pews, renovation of bathrooms, addition of front glass doors, landscaping improvements and many other projects that we set our goals on. It was truly a miracle!
