* GIFT TAGS, WRAP The class “Children’s Craft: Gift Tags and Cards” meets at 3 p.m. Dec. 3 at Aina Haina Library. Other programs include “Teen Craft: Envelope Gift Bags"at 3 p.m. Dec. 10 and “Furoshiki: Alternative Gift Wrapping” at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 13 for adults and seniors. Call 377-2456.

* WAR FILMS The Hawaii Wartime Film Series concludes with Steven Fredrick’s “Hawaii During World War II; the Movies and the Music of the 1940s” at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 in a Hawaii Kai home. Admission is $10. For details, call 396-0674.

* KAIMUKI PARADE The Kaimuki Christmas Parade starts at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 on the St. Louis campus and moves down Waialae to the city parking lot, followed by the tree lighting by the fire station and Santa Claus. Call 732-8787.

* NEIGHBORS Area neighborhood boards meeting at 7 p.m. this month include: Kuliouou-Kalani Iki Dec. 4 at Aina Haina Library, Palolo Dec. 10 at Palolo Elementary School cafeteria and Kaimuki Dec. 17 at Liliuokalani Elementary cafeteria. Call 768-3710.

* ECONOMICS KCC and Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. presents the seminar “Making Sense of the New Economic & Political Landscape” at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 4 in Ohia 118 (below the college cafeteria). Fee is $5 ahead or $7 at the door. Call 734-9153.

* HANAUMA TALKS UH graduate students share their latest research in free public lectures this month at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve theater. Talks are set for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4 and 11. Call 397-5840.

* DHT MUSICAL Diamond Head Theatre presents the musical Peter Pan from Dec. 5 through 21. Call 733-0274.

* KAIMUKI CRAFTS Aliiolani Elementary School hosts a Season’s Best Kaimuki Craft & Gift Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at the school. Call 683-6064.

* LIBRARY CRAFTS Evelyn Nakamura leads a class (for ages 5 and up) in making decorated gift boxes from recycled card stock and Styrofoam stamps at 2 p.m. Dec. 7 at Kaimuki Library. Call 733-8422.

* STORYTIME Hawaii Kai Library offers a free fall pre-school storytime at 10:30 a.m. each Wednesday through Dec. 10. Call 397-5833.
