* TRANSIT COMMENTS The public has until Feb. 6 to comment on the city’s draft EIS for its rapid transit plan. Copies are at area libraries. Go to www.honolulutransit.org.
* MUSIC WORKSHOP Breakthrough Performance Workshop offers a three-part program to “reclaim your true voice and your true creative expression.“The evening workshop meets Feb. 6 to 8 on the Kahala campus of Waldorf High School. Fee is $350. Call 778-6117.
* LITERACY TRAINING Hawaii Literacy conducts an orientation at 10 a.m. Feb. 7 at the Kahala Barnes & Noble for those interested in becoming volunteer reading tutors for adults. Call 537-6706.
* PROM DRESSES American Savings Bank at Kahala Mall collects gently used prom dresses from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 7. Call 732-7736.
* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 16 in the Kaimuki Municipal Parking Lot; 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 22 at Kahala Mall near Macy’s men’s department; 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 26 at Kaiser High School library; and 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 1 at Hawaii Kai Towne Center.
