* NEIGHBORS Hawaii Kai Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. June 30 at Hahaione Elementary School. On the agenda is the cost and extent of the city’s Lunalilo Road street lighting project. Call 768-3710.

* WIENERMOBILE The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile visits Times Supermarket by Kahala Mall from 9 a.m. to noon July 1 and the Hawaii Kai Foodland store from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 9 on its Hawaii promotional tour.
* HANAUMA TALKS Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve hosts free lectures and films by experts on reef life at 6:30 p.m. July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 in the education center. Call 397-5840.

* LIBRARY CLOSURES Most public libraries are closed July 3-5 in observance of Independence Day.
* MASTERWORKS The annual Hawaii Vocal Masterworks Festival is at 4 p.m. July 5 in Chaminade’s Mystical Rose Oratory featuring acclaimed vocalists singing works by Handel and Mendelssohn. Tickets are at the door, or call 550-8457.

* NURSING HOME The city Department of Planning and Permitting holds a hearing at 10:30 a.m. July 7 on a permit to convert an apartment building on Olokele Avenue to a 43-bed skilled nursing and intermediate care facility.
