* ORCHID SALE Kaimuki Orchid Society has a “redistribution sale” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6 during its meeting at Kilauea District Park. Baked goods,crafts,pickled food and other treats also are available. Proceeds benefit the club.Call 373-4910.

* MUSICAL Diamond Head Theatre stages The Drowsy Chaperone starring John Rampage as “the man in the chair"through Oct.11.For tickets, call 733-0274.

* RECYCLING DRIVE Waialae Charter School has a HI-5 recycling drive from 7 to 8 a.m. Oct. 20 with a drive-through drop-off station on 20th Avenue, just off of Harding. Call 733-4880.
