* HOKULANI FAIR Hokulani Elementary School has its Spring Fling from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. March 4 with pony rides, bouncers, food and games. Call 733-4789.

* FURLOUGH CLASS Chaminade has two free Furlough Friday workshops for teens on March 5: Slam Poetry and the Spoken Word from 8:15 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch, at Ching Conference Center, and The Legislature from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.at the State Capitol in collaboration with state Sen. * TAX HELP Volunteers with AARP Tax-Aide assists low- and moderate-income taxpayers with their returns from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 6, 13, 20, 27 and April 3, 9 an 10 at Aina Haina Library. For details, visit http://www.aarp.org/taxaide.
* ASSOCIATION MEETS St.Louis Heights Community Association has its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. March 8 at Hokulani Elementary School. Call 737-5654.
* CHAMBER MIXER Hawaii Kai Chamber of Commerce meets for wine, food and networking from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 12 at Roy’s Restaurant. Branding expert and TV host J.T. Foxx will speak. Fee is $40 for non-members. Call 381-4412.
* ROSE SHOW Honolulu Rose Society has its spring rose show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.March 13 at Kahala Mall. 732-7736.
* MAUNALUA MONDAY Malama Maunalua presents Maunalua Monday at 6:30 p.m. March 15 at the group’s community house, 4211 Waialae Ave., in partnership with Whole Foods Market.

WAIALAE HIKES Hawaiian Trail & Mountain Club leads a 4-mile hike to Wiliwilinui in Waialae at 8 a.m. March 20.Also, a 6-mile hike at 8 a.m. March 21 on Wailupe Loop. Go to http://www.htmclub.org.
