* HANAUMA LECTURES Hanauma Bay Education Program presents free Thursday lectures in June on a “natural world"theme. UH geography grad student Jack Kittinger discusses “A Journey through Hawaii’s Cultural Seascape: Historical Ecology and Coral Reef Ecosystems” at 6:30 p.m. June 3 at the park visitor center.Additional talks are June 10, 17 and 24. * HELP THE ANIMALS Hawaii Animal Sanctuary in Hawaii Kai has a benefit garage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 5 at the World War II Tunnels in Aikahi (above the fire station on Iliaina Street). The sale features a tour of the tunnels for a nominal fee and a large collection of bargain items for sale.Proceeds pay for food, supplies and veterinary services for abandoned animals. * DOG WALK The sixth annual Hawaii Kai Dog Walk starts at 7:30 a.m. June 6 at the Hawaii Kai Park and Ride with games, activities and exhibits as well as the walk itself. Visit http://www.hui-ilio.org.

* ST. LOUIS HIKE Hawaiian Trail & Mountain Club leads a 6-mile, intermediate hike to Mount Olympus peak in St. Louis Heights at 8 a.m. June 6. Go to http://www.htmclub.org.

* WALDORF GRADS Honolulu Waldorf School graduates its senior class at 3 p.m. June 6 at Mamiya Theatre. Call 735-9311.
