HCAP Has Feast’s Trimmings

Honolulu Community Action Program will distribute food this week at its four Oahu offices, including the Leahi District Center in Palolo Valley.

Under the Emergency Food Assistance Program, HCAP will have several items available to qualified, low-income families and individuals with proper I.D., just in time for Thanksgiving.

Supplies include apple juice, macaroni, shelf-stable UHT milk, and canned peaches, cranberry sauce and spaghetti sauce.

The Leahi HCAP center is located at 1915 Palolo Ave. For more information, call 732-7755.

The Oahu nonprofit has devoted four decades to helping the island’s low-income families achieve self-reliance.
