Hawaii’s renown ukulele teacher Roy Sakuma and a handful of his students will be at Kaimuki Library at 2 p.m. Aug. 15 for a free talk story and live performance on “The Art of the Ukulele.”
Sakuma will discuss how the ukulele changed his life and his 30-year journey as a ukulele teacher, producer and promoter. His mission to share the joy of the ukulele extends to his four studios, including a Kaimuki venue, and the annual Ukulele Festival, which marked its 40th year last month.
This educational and entertaining session is suitable for any age. For more information, call the library at 733-8422.
