* SCHOOL SUPPLIES Prudential Locations accepts donations of school supplies July 14-18 at Pearlridge Center Uptown. The items will go into backpacks that will be delivered to Oahu shelters for needy children. Call 531-6087, ext. 102.

* QUILT PROJECT Home of the Brave Quilt Project volunteers supply hand-sewn quilts for visitors to sign and write messages to the families of Hawaii’s fallen soldiers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 19 and Sept. 1 at the Pacific Aviation Museum. General admission is $14 adults, $7 children. ($10 adult, $5 children with military and kama’aina discounts; museum members get in free.) Call 441-1000.
