* POST OFFICE HOURS The Barbers Point/Kalaeloa Post Office has extended its hours for the holiday mailing season to 9 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 8-19, Monday-Saturday. Call Sen. Mike Gabbard 586-6830.
* BASEBALL CLINIC West Oahu Baseball and Elite Sports Academy conduct a baseball clinic featuring several major league players (including Shane Victorino) from 2 to 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at Central Oahu Regional Park. Fee is $55. Call 262-4538.
* EWA ZONE CHANGE The city Planning Commission hears a request at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 10 from developers of Ewa Industrial Park, who want to change the zoning from ag to heavy industrial on 23.3 acres of its property at 1020 Geiger Road. The hearing is in the City Council meeting room at Honolulu Hale. Call 768-8007.
* YOGA CLASSES Roselle Torres hosts one-hour yoga sessions at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10 and 17 at The Healing Arts Center (behind Cutter Ford in Aiea). Cost is $15. Call 294-0743.
* PUPPET TIMES Waipahu Library presents Holiday Season Puppet Times with Christy Lipps at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 10 in the C.O. Andy Anderson Room. Call 675-0358. On Dec. 17, the puppets move to Kapolei Library’s Children’s Room at 6:30 p.m., followed by photos with Santa. Call 693-7050.

* NEIGHBORS The Ewa Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at Ewa Beach Library. Call 768-3710.
* FOOTBALL CLASSIC The Hawaii Goodwill Senior Bowl is at 5 p.m. and the Hawaii Polynesia-Mainland Bowl at 8 p.m. Dec. 12 at Aloha Stadium. The first game features the state’s best high school senior players, and the second one has top players from across the nation versus 38 Hawaii players and three from American Samoa. * PARADES Aiea Community Association’s Christmas parade starts at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 13, moving from Pearlridge Elementary School to Aiea Sugar Mill Park (429-1282); Gentry Waipio Community Association has its parade at 10 a.m. Dec. 13 starting and ending at Gentry Waipio Shopping Center (671-2272); and the West Oahu Holiday Electric Light Parade begins at 6 p.m. Dec. 13 at Kapolei Fairgrounds and finishes at Kapolei Hale (527-5759).
* BASEBALL REGISTRATION Ewa Little League Baseball welcomes children ages 5-12 to sign up for its 2009 season from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 13-14 at Ewa Shopping Center. Required are three proofs of residence, shot record and original/state-certified copy of child’s birth certificate, even if child previously played in league.
