* KARAOKE CONTEST T-Spot Nightclub in Kapolei hosts an open mic contest (with a cash prize) from 9 to 11 p.m. Feb. 23. Call 382-9495.

* PARDI GRAS Aiea Bowl celebrates “Pardi Gras - Fat Sin Monday” all night long on Feb. 23 with Xtreme-glow bowling, live deejay, pupu and drink specials and prizes. Cover is $5 for 18 to 20, free for over 21. Call 488-6854.

* NEIGHBORS Pearl City Neighborhood Board meets at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at Highlands Intermediate School cafeteria, the Makakilo-Kapolei-Honokai Hale board meets at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at Kapolei High School cafeteria, and the Waipahu board meets at 7 p.m. Feb. 26 at the FilCom Center. Call 768-3710.

* LEGISLATORS MEET State Sens. David Ige, Donna Mercado Kim, Clarence Nishihara and Norman Sakamoto and Reps. Blake Oshiro, K. Mark Takai and Roy Takumi sponsor an Aiea/Pearl City Legislative Town Meeting on Hawaii’s economy at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at Pearl Ridge Elementary School cafeteria. Call 586-6970.

* SKETCH COMEDY On the Spot founder Garrick Paikai leads a four-week introductory course on sketch comedy writing ($125) at 7 p.m. March 5-26 and improv techniques ($50) at 7 p.m. March 6-27 at Rosalie Woodson Dance Academy, 99-153 Moanalua Road in Aiea.
