* CHORAL CONCERT Leeward Community College presents its Kanikapila Singers and Chorus in a free program of traditional and contemporary songs at 7 p.m. May 9 at the LCC Theatre. Call 455-0385.
* L’ULU GALA The Leeward Community College Culinary Arts Program gala benefit is from 6 to 9 p.m. May 9 with 14 food stations from chefs and local restaurants, a silent auction, entertainment and spirits, plus a ceremony to honor 12 local chefs. * JACKRABBIT FOOTBALL The Oahu Youth Sports League registers players and cheerleaders from 10 a.m. to noon May 9 and every Saturday at Waipahu District Park for the Waipahu Jackrabbits’ Termite and Pee Wee division (ages 9-13).
