* SAVE WATER Winning posters and poems from the Board of Water Supply’s Water Conservation Week contest are on view July 27-Aug. 7 at Kapolei Hale.

* NEIGHBORS Pearl City Neighborhood Board meets at 6:30 p.m. July 28 at Waiau District Park. Call 768-3710.

* STORAGE HEARING The city Department of Planning and Permitting conducts a pubic hearing at 10:30 a.m. July 29 at Kapolei Hale on a special management permit for Sause Brothers Inc. to build a cargo storage yard and wastewater treatment plant near Kalaeloa Harbor. * YACHT TOURS The yacht Lynx - “America’s Privateer” - is expected to arrive by 3 p.m. July 31 at Ko Olina marina from the Transpac race, and tours will be conducted Aug. 1-2 and 6-9. Call 1-866-446-5969.

* BON DANCE Waipahu Soto Zen Temple Taiyoji has its bon dance at 7 p.m. July 31-Aug. 1 at 94-413 Waipahu St. (671-3103).

* XERISCAPE DOINGS Halawa Xeriscape Garden conducts its 21st annual open house and unthirsty plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 1 at 99-1268 Iwaena St. Park on Iwaiwa and Iwaena streets and take the free shuttle.Call 748-5041.

* REUNION DEADLINE Aiea High Class of 1979 members should make reservations by Aug. 1 for the 30-year reunion, set for Aug. 22 at Sheraton Waikiki. Call 342-0080.

* CHILDREN’S MUSIC Keiki Kani Music Studio, winner of Nickelodeon‘s Parents Picks Award, conducts a children’s class in music development and appreciation at 3 p.m. Aug. 1 and 8 at its studio in Aiea, behind Dixie Grill. Call 487-2275.

* TRANSIT WORKSHOP The city’s High-Capacity Transit Corridor Project conducts its third and final community workshop from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Aug. 5 at Kapolei High School cafeteria on the three proposed rail transit stations for West Oahu, featuring new sketches and renderings for the lobby and ground-level entry buildings. * BON DANCES Pearl City Hongwanji Buddhist Temple has its bon dance at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7-8 at 858 Second St. (455-1680); Soto Mission of Aiea-Taiheiji stages its bon dance at the same time and dates at 99-045 Kauhale St. (488-6794).
