Below are highlights of what’s coming up in West Oahu.

* NEIGHBORS Aiea Neighborhood Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 11 at Aiea Library; the Ewa board meets at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Ewa Beach Library. Call 768-3710.

* KAPOLEI DANCE The Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association in Kapolei registers students for fourth-quarter classes at 7 p.m. Jan. 11, 25 and Feb. 1 at Kapolei Elementary School. Classes run from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays Jan. 11-March 15 at the school. Call 781-2076.

* PEARLRIDGE DANCE The Pearlridge chapter of the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association registers students for classes in tango, mambo and waltz at 7 p.m. Jan. 12, 19 and 26 in Waimalu Elementary School cafeteria. Lessons run from 7 to 9:10 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 12-March 2. Call Millie at 836-4579 or Les at 488-3935.

* AIEA DANCE The Aiea chapter of the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association registers students for bolero, West Coast swing and tango at 7 p.m. Jan. 18 and 25 at Gus Webling Elementary School cafeteria (99-370 Paihi St.). Students interested in quickstep and cha cha can sign up at 7 p.m. Jan. 19 and 26. Call Roy at 220-9785.

* PEARL CITY DANCE The Pearl City chapter of the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association accepts students for classes in tango, mambo and waltz at 7 p.m. Jan. 12 and 19 at Manana Elementary School cafeteria. Classes will be held between 7 and 9:10 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 12-March 2. Call Shirley at 456-2129.

* WOMEN’S NETWORK West Oahu Women Social and Business Network hosts a get-together from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 13 at Simply Organized (889 Kamokila Blvd. in Kapolei), with pupus, wine, prizes and a private shopping day for WOW guests. Entry fee is $10 WOW members, $20 non-members, with a portion of proceeds to be donated to Hui O Na Wahine Spouses Club. RSVP by Jan. 11. * PLAY MORNINGS Keiki age 2 and older are welcome from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Jan. 14, 21 and 28 to the children’s section of Kapolei Library for a free Play Mornings. Call 693-7050.

* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at Waikele Center, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Ewa Town Center Foodland, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 24 at Kapolei Shopping Center and 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in the Waipahu High School chorus room. * PAPERCRAFTS Kapolei Library hosts a free adult papercraft workshop at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 23, with local crafter Arnheidur demonstrating how to create cards for Valentine’s Day and other occasions. The program includes all necessary supplies. Registration is required. Call 693-7050.

* PLANTS, PEOPLE Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden has a general membership meeting and nomination of directors at 10 a.m. Jan. 30, followed by a members’ plant sale at 99-1268 Iwaena St. Call 748-5312.

* VOLKSMARCH Menehune Marchers Volksport Club puts on a free 5K/10K volksmarch (walk)
