Below are highlights of what’s coming up in West Oahu.
* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank has donor drives from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 9 at Pearlridge Center and noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 13 at Kaiser’s Waipio Clinic. Call 845-9966.
* CAJUN MUSIC The Red Stick Ramblers entertain Sept. 10 at Leeward Community College Theater. For cost and details, call 455-0385.
* WOMEN’S HEALTH March of Dimes and Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center present the annual Women’s Health Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 10 at WCCHC, with exhibits, cooking demos by Dr. Stephen Bradley, speaker Jaimie Kahale, entertainment by Na Waiho’olu’u o ke Anuenue, free Jamba Juice and Native Hawaiian plants (while supplies last) and other prizes. * BON DANCE Pearl City Nursing Home has its bon dance from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 11 along with food, baked goods and crafts. Proceeds support the residents’ activity fund. Call 453-1919.
* KEIKI HO’OLAULEA Aloha Festivals 2010 presents a Keiki Ho’olaulea from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 11 at Pearlridge Center, Uptown and Downtown, featuring the royal court, arts and crafts, demonstrations, hula, music and free monorail rides. Call 488-0981.
* WAIAU BRIDGE The city Department of Planning and Permitting has a public hearing at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 15 at Manana Community Park on a special management area use permit for HECO to put up a utility bridge at Waiau power plant. Call 768-8025.
* TRASH TOUR The city’s next Tour de Trash is from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 16 on “Recycled Products.” It starts and ends at Kapolei Hale. Call 768-3200.

** CANCER CAMPAIGN Big City Diner in Aiea and Waipio (and elsewhere on Oahu) are accepting donated loose change throughout September for the Hawaii Children’s Cancer Foundation drive. Look for the labeled canisters. Call 528-5161.
