* IMU ROAST Pearl City Highlands Elementary School has a Thanksgiving imu roast with drop off from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Nov. 24 and pick up from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 25. Tickets cost $20 cash. Call 453-6470.

* NUTRITION WORKSHOP Janne Mason, Lanakila Meals on Wheels nutrition program specialist, conducts a free “How to Put Balance in Your Meals” program at 10 a.m. Dec. 2 at Pearl City Library, offering helpful tips preparing nutritious and affordable meals, safely handling foods, breathing techniques to relieve stress and more.
