* WAIPIO CRAFTS Hawaii Okinawa Center hosts “An Evening in Waipio” craft fair from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 8 at 94-587 Ukee St. Call 676-5400.

* NEIGHBORS Ewa Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. Dec. 9 at Ewa Beach Library. Call 768-3710.

* SANTA VISITS Santa Claus pays a visit to Pearl City Library at 10 a.m. Dec. 9, inviting keiki of all ages to share their Christmas wishes and receive a free goody bag. Call 453-6566.

* DEAF SANTA The 19th annual Deaf Santa Celebration is from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 9 at Pearlridge Center Uptown when a deaf and signing Santa will visit with more than 100 children. Entertaining are Miss Deaf Hawaii Chanel Duponte, Miss Hawaii’s Outstanding Teen Lena Merrill and more. Express train rides also are planned for the special keiki. Call 488-0981.
