* BOARD The Ewa Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. April 12 at the Ewa Beach Library. Call 527-5749.

* AUTHOR Aiea Library hosts “Meet the Author: Ronald Oba” at 9 a.m. April 12. Oba, a veteran of the 442nd regiment in World War II, received numerous awards for his valor and wrote a collection of memoirs, The Men in Company F. The library is at 99-143 Moanalua Road. Call 483-7333.

* TALK STORY State Sen. Mike Gabbard and Rep. Sharon Har host a “talk story” in the Royal Kunia Community Association Board Room (above the Kunia Times Super Market) at 9 a.m. April 14.
