Below are highlights of what’s coming up in West Oahu.

* BOARD The Waipahu Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. May 24 at Hawaii’s Plantation Village. Call 527-5749.

* PEARL CITY STORYTIME Pearl City Library has free weekly storytime at 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays through May 24 for keiki 2 and older and Thursdays for toddlers. Call 453-6566.

* LEI DROP The Waiau and Waipahu district parks accept donated lei for Memorial Day from 9 to 11:30 a.m. May 25; Waipahu Fire Station also will collect lei from 6 a.m. to noon that day. Call 692-5725.


* RODEO The Hawaii Women’s Rodeo Association presents two jackpot rodeos May 26 at Barbers Point arena. Action begins at 10 a.m. with several competitive events. Call John Teixeira at 389-9884.

* ID CARDS State personnel process applications for State ID cards from 8:30 a.m.to 2 p.m. May 26 at Campbell High School. Fee is $15 or $10 for those 65 and over. Call 587-3111.

* HIKE The Hawaiian Trail & Mountain Club leads a 12-mile, advanced hike on Aiea Ridge at 8 a.m. May 27. Go to htmclub.org

* BLOOD The Hawaii Blood Bank conducts a donor drive from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 28 at the Ewa Foodland. Call 845-9966.

* KAPOLEI PLAYTIME Kapolei Library offers free weekly independent play time with educational toys for toddlers and preschoolers at 10 a.m. Thursdays through May 31. Call 693-7050.

* CONCERT The Honolulu Chorale presents its 41st annual spring concert at 7 p.m. June 2 at Pearl City Cultural Center with guest artist Cathy Foy. Tickets are $10 for age 11 and up. Call 680-7702.


* TALK STORY State Sen. Mike Gabbard hosts a talk story with constituents from 9 to 10 a.m. June 2 in Waikele Elementary School cafeteria. Call 586-6830.
