* DANCE PARTY Music from the ‘80s to current hits will play at the Sugar Hill dance party at Lily Koi Lounge from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. July 3. Age 21 and over (the $10 entrance donation will benefit Musical Youth of Hawaii). Call 479-3008.

* FREE MEALS The Summer Food Service Program offers free meals to children under 19 Monday through Friday (except July 4) from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m. through July 6 at Ewa Beach Elementary; 10:40 to 11 a.m. through July 7 at Kaimiloa Elementary; and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. through July 13 at Pohakea Elementary. * ADAPTIVE SURFING AccesSurf Hawaii hosts a day of adaptive surfing and shoreline flotation/swimming for those with muscular dystrophy, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 7 at White Plains Beach Park. Volunteers meet at 8 a.m. Call 593-4454.

* PET CARE Pearl City Library (1138 Waimano Home Road) hosts a program by the Hawaiian Humane Society, with a talk by Billie Lueder on being a responsible pet owner at 1 p.m. July 9. Children are invited to to help the Hawaiian Humane Society by bringing old newspapers, empty shoe boxes, paper shopping bags with handles and recyclable cans and bottles. For ages 3 and up.
